heads, or cam next???
I have money for one or the other, but not both right now. Its a 2001 coupe, just did catless long tube headers, and the car has a callaway honker and a titanium catback. What would be the most logical direction from here performance wise?
I have my heart set on the texas speed stage 2.5, 5.3 heads for around $1400, but I also have my eye on the 224/224-581/581 112lsa cam at texas speed as well :/
Car is an auto, and has stock converter (coming out next). Would I need tune work after doing just the heads or cam seperately if I have a good tune after my headers???

Save your $ and do both at the same time (along with required supporting mods). I didn't do the heads and now wish I did. Plus you'll only need to get it tuned once.

The gears and converter will give you a very noticeable kick in the azz while you save up for heads/cam. That way, you'll only need to pay for, or diy, the breakdown of all the stuff that needs to come off once.
