Unique gas leak (Not from rear of the car!)
2000 C5 Auto-
Pulled in my driveway yesterday and IMMEDIATELY smelled gas. No smell prior
Look under the car and saw a very consistent gas puddle forming (front of car/I'd say mid engine) Smell was overwhelming.
I jack the car up today to look at the location and started the car ... nothing. Drove it around, nothing. No sign of the previous puddle (so no question it was gas)
So - cool that it's still not doing it, but what in the world could have happened?
What sucks more than a problem occurring is when you know it exists and can't recreate the issue.
Any thoughts?

My issue was a failed injector seal. So I spent $14 and replaced them all. It's easy to see. Pull off the fuel rail covers and see if it's wet around any of your injectors.

Don't drive the car until you fix the leak
You can hot wire the fuel pump & check everything without the motor running
