Default Air pump and EGR

While getting info on another subject, I was informed that the C5 doesnt have EGR, and apparently has an air pump for emissions. I think I figured out where the air pump is supposed to be, but not sure what it goes into if not EGR. And what is this if not EGR?

the hoses are still there-that was the hoses we found the other day. I just ordered a air pump for it, so that will be fixed. Has to pass emissions inspection here in NC

Did you just order the pump? I ask that because there is a vacuum control solenoid interface also.

I went on ebay and found a complete air pump with all brackets and hoses for $55. Not sure if solenoid is part of it. Where is the solenoid located?

or you could just remove everything else and have the corresponding codes removed with hptuners so you can pass your emissions test... the air pump is dead weight in my opinion

That may be an option down the road-Right now this is a more cost effective solution

Inside the passenger wheel well. Here is some info. It may be there but the hoses may not be.

I can post more AIR info from the service manual if you need it to hook everything up.
