Default Valve cover clearance question

I will be installing an EG whiplash cam and roller rockers in the next couple of weeks after I get my heads back from Texas Speed.

Question is.... will I need valve cover spacers to clear the roller rockers ?

Depends on which roller rockers. Jessel Sportsmans - yes, Yella Terras, Scorpians, similar brands - probably not.
If you do need a bit of extra clearance, one easy way to get it is with the Yella Terra 3/8" thick valve cover gaskets handled by Hinson Motorsports and other vendors on the forum. You don't have more room under the alternator for much more than that. Good luck.

If they're nonadjustables they should clear with the stock valve cover gaskets.

You need to set the wipe on the rockers before buying pushrods. Once you set wipe, which may require shims, your rockers will raise and more clearance is required. I ground out my valve covers rather than use spacers.
