Default Ls6 intake upgrade

I am doing a ls6 intake upgrade next week. Do I need anything besides the valley pan and the intake?

I installed an LS6 intake on my 99 coupe (LS1) a couple of years ago.

I wanted to retain the stock LS1 steam tubes, so I needed to shave the fins off of the bottom of the LS6 manifold. (Look at the bottom of the LS6 manifold, you'll see the fins.) Take your time with a sharp chisel, they'll shave right off.

You'll want to extent the small vacuum line that goes to the sensor at the rear of the manifold...it's all but impossible to reinstall it if left the stock length.
Other than that, replace the intake to head seals and you're good to go!

IHTH!
