Default feels twitchy after alignment

have a 97 base with c5 zo6 sways and shocks, had an alignment and now over rough roads when I hit a big bump it feels like the rear end wants to cover to the drivers side. but when I have a passenger it does not. is this normal or did they screw up the alignment? I know they adjusted the right rear, what else not sure

Why did you have the alignment done?

I put it in the ditch and wanted to make sure it was ok, I did not get the alignment results. btw, it tracks straight down the road, hands off the wheel, except a slight turn to the right from the crowned road.

Then its not correct. A proper alignment will go straight on a crowned road.

your numbers match whats in my service manual, but what about the c5 zo6 sways and shocks, do they make a difference?

post a pic of your alignment sheet or what the results were after it was done and we may be able to offer better advice... these cars in general are pretty bad about the rear wanting to kick out over bumps, in my opinion mainly due to the leaf springs... leafs may do good on a prepped track but on bad roads they aren't optimal... this is one of the reasons I made the change to coilovers, so I could get rid of the leaf springs and be able to lower the car without losing suspension travel
