LS1 Stock Oil Pressure
I have a 2002 coupe with 71k miles. Once my oil get hot (210 degrees) my oil pressure runs at 45 psi at 1500 rpm while cruising, 50psi @ 4K and 35psi @ idle 800. Just want to make sure that spread is normal. I run 5W30 Mobile 1 as directed. Just looking for a comfort. Thanks

Looks pretty normal to me...

Actually that seems above normal oil pressure--especially at idle--Most LS1's will drop down to like 15-20 LBS at idle when hot--
Old school thinking suggests that you need 10 LBS of oil pressure for every 1000 RPM's
So at 5000 you would want 50 PSI and at 6000 60 PSI--
You would die if you owned a new C7 where they switched from a high pressure system to a high volume system----at idle my C7 is about 15-20 PSI but at 6500 it only goes to a max of 45 PSI----scared me to death until I learned that they switched to a hi volume system--( called GM)--to verify that it was by design

you're fine, nothing to worry about... if it were 15-20 at idle I would be more concerned and probably thinking about a new pump and/or possibly refreshing the motor
