Default ITB gains?

Did a search and found plenty for super high end builds but couldn't find any info for mostly stock setups. Searched youtube for some sound clips and couldn't find much either! Anyone have any info of people throwing some ITBs on a fairly stock engine? I would love to know the gains.

My guess would be not much without at least a cam. The stock intake is pretty unrestrictive for the stock engine with an ls6 manifold. Not to mention you have to get a speed density tune to run it on ITB's. Typically this setup is for highly modded engines with a stroker kit, heads, and cam that are actually able to benefit from an ITB system.

I agree.

I have one that I ran on a high rpm 388ci motor I designed and we also had it on the 346ci stock motor with heads/cam.
I believe we picked up about 15rwhp with it on the 346.
It drives great and it can tame a large cam. Throttle response is almost too sensitive.
The negatives are trying to keep heat out of the engine bay and filtration if you plan on driving it on the street a lot.

Robz do you still have it on the 388? That was seriously one of the coolest builds I've seen on an LS motor. How high did you rev that thing up to?

I have the ITB in the garage.

The 388ci has been rebuilt and is is for sale. with or without the manifold. It can spin to 9000rpms

I built another 396ci. LS motor for vette that can spin to 10,000rpms. It makes around ~950fwhp.

I saw a video of the 388 going up to 9k. I lost the link though. Do you have it? Does the 396 also use the ITB's? NA? Would love to see a video of that too.
