Default Ignition/Lock cylinder replaced - Any relearn necessary?

I will be replacing my ignition and lock cylinder. The lock cylinder has been coded for my original key. When I put these parts back in the car will I be required to-do any kind of relearn procedure?

Default switch replacement

I do not think that there is any relearn with just the ignition switch and tumblers. You are not replacing the vats keys with a different resistance, so no change and no relearn is necessary.

So I take it the resistance is stored in the PCM and not the IGN?
