Default Which gauge cluster will work on a 97

I have a 97 Targa top and I wish to replace my gauge cluster. I was reading that some years will not work and some do.

Does anyone have any knowledge of what years I could use to replace mine

Thanks
Josh

Default cluster

The clusters are all compatible, they are not all plug and play. The 97 and 98 cars are plug and play. If you use a late 99-04 cluster you will also have to move the airbag warning light located next to the fuel gauge to the location on the Tachometer or else the light will remain on all the time. Hope this helps.

If you get a 99 or newer they will be HUD enabled so you could add a HUD if you wanted.
