Dual Zone Climate Control Problems
Seeking help for a problem on my '98 c5. Having issues with the dual zone climate control. Here is a bit of history. Bought the car as a possible fixer upper 6 weeks ago. I knew the ac needed recharging, check for leaks, ect. Haven't repaired the ac yet. Repaired the display by soldering the 8 resisters and 2 mini backlit lamps (thanks to YouTube). Ran the codes and came up with the following:
99-HVAC (3 codes) B 0363, B 0365, and B 0367. These codes first came up as history and then as I tried to reset them they came back up. The first B 0363 is the Left Actuator Feedback Open, the second B 0365 is the Right Actuator Feedback Short to GND, and the third B 0367 is the Right Actuator Feedback Open. There are no other codes showing on the car. Any help toward repair advise is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

To replace these the dash has to be removed. I have done 2 of these replacements. If you are familiar with pulling the radio and gage cluster it is not too much more to remove the dash. This job can be done in about 3hrs and requires a see and set of hands to remove the dash from the car.
Where are you located, some one lifal to you may offer to help with the work. If you are in Southern California, I definitely can help.

Dual Zone Climate Control Problems
Thanks for getting back to me. I kind of figured it would not be a simple fix. I live in SW Virginia so your online help is the only feasible solution. Thanks again for your help.

Try this to see if it at least corrects the right side issue.
Re-Calibrating Actuators
Use the following EXACT steps to perform the calibration update:
1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Remove the battery positive voltage circuit fuse of the HVAC Control Module (fuse #27).
Important
The module memory will not clear if the battery positive voltage circuit fuse is installed in less than 60 seconds.
3. Wait 60 seconds.
4. Install the fuse.
The left actuator can be accessed if you remove the Knee Bolster, but a PITA. Let us know if you need help on that but since you have accessed the control unit I think you already know.
Right side will require dash removal. If you need to do both just pull the dash to make life easier.
Dash removal is not very hard as compared to other cars. Just bag and tag the fasteners.

Here is a link on replacing the actuators. I can also post the FSM instructions if you need them. Good DIY links are often better for this type of thing since you can always contact the writer.

What I meant to have him do is to see if the recalibration fixes one or both of the issues first.
Based on what happens then he may have the fun of replacing one or both of them.

Often the re calibration is only a temporary fix. Worth a try but a new actuator is probably in your future.

Burning Brakes
Being you having codes for both, I would replace both of them. You can buy that dorman part on ebay at a fraction of the auto parts places. 604-106 is the part number, just search for it on ebay.

Dual Zone
I tore into the dash. The passenger side actuator's main gear split. Driver's side actuator starting to split. Repaired and recalibrated both (read a post on repair/recalibration). Starting to reinstall. Thanks to all who replied to my post.

Let us know how the reassembly of the dash goes. I'm facing the same issue. Thanks!

THEN, I went through the diagnostic codes and under "99-HVAC" found three codes - B0338 (air temp sensor open), B0367 (right actuator feedback open) and B0446 (right actuator out of range). When I hit "RESET" to clear those codes, you could hear the actuator door motor!
I turned the key OFF and then started the car and air blows cold on both sides!
