Upper oil pan bolts

Upper oil pan bolts
So after chasing an oil leak for what seems like forever, I see that one of my upper oil pan bolts is MISSING!! I know, I know, that should have been one of the first things I checked. So where do I get a new bolt? It is one near the front kind of near the leaf spring. Thank you!

Easy fix,,,Take out a bolt right next to it and go to your local auto parts store, NAPA etc.. They are not a rare size and only get minimally torqued , no big deal. Put catch pan under leaking area until bolts reinstalled to catch oil, torque to spec.

M8x1.25x32 GM part #12551187 TAKES 13 I had one missing, turned out bolt was broke off in the block and had to drop the cradle to remove the oil pan and then remove broken bolt. I hope that yours is just missing. Good luck

Thanks for the part number. Saved it in my files for later reference.
