Reading this just reminded me that I left my E-brake on before I put the car away. Unfortunately, I won't be able to lower it for another 3-4 months because I'm out of the country. Does anyone think this will do some serious damage?

If the car is on a level surface, I see no need to have the e-brake on....

In gear and parking brake off is just fine. Unless you are storing it parked on a hill.

Melting Slicks
I prefer to leave the brake off during storage. If for some reason the components become inoperative, I can drive the car and address the issue either with a mechanic or myself at my convenience. My car is stored in an unheated garage in a northern climate so don't like to chance that something might corrode during storage.
I also leave the manual transmission in neutral and chock the wheels. That way the shifter's centering spring in the transmission isn't under load. (just my preference)
