Default '99 Vette heat/cool controls - no lights

The heat and cool controls on my 99 Vette work just fine. However at night none of the lights on the circuit board are light making it very hard to see what button to push to make adjustments. The LCD display works just fine also. Any suggestions as to how to correct this problem? A couple of pictures are attached showing the face of the control panel and then the circuit board that has the bulbs on it. The bulbs are not replaceable, they are soldered to the board.

And $45 bucks is a heck of a deal if you can't do this stuff yourself.

I would certainly like to know where the power supply for the lights is. That should be your issue, not 10 zillion burned out bulbs or the few LEDs there.

Let's see what they find wrong with my unit. I will post the results here when they tell me why the lights didn't work. If it has something to do with a power supply I will be sure to post that. thanks for the questions Mr. Sam.
