C5 Fender Accent Stripes
I recently purchased a set of the stripes from a forum vendor. The install instructions were very good; however, I have a question. Do I wash the car first? Do I wax the car then install the stripes? Do I install the stripes then wax over them? What is the prep I need to do before actually installing the stripes. Thank you in advance for your input!

Get the car clean and remove the wax where you are going to install the stripes. Isopropyl or rubbing alcohol on a rag will remove the wax. Then install the stripes. Once done, you can apply wax back over the area, including over the vinyl stripes. I did this to the vinyl stripes I put on the fender of my '00 and did not have any problems in the 6+ years they were on the car.
