I agree with you but to hold a seminar about C5 column lock issues and to say what he did---i see NO reason to doubt him on anything he says-Im sure he has talked with the engineers from GM on this issue--this is also why i believe from the 126,000 vettes recalled--many thousands never have had a CL issue because the battery was always charged up and clean-

I really find it very difficult not to believe a master gm mechanic--especially on a 12 year old subject--would stand up and say something that was not correct-

Like i said about a year and half ago about 2000 miles ago had the last CL recall done--have had no problems--my POS optima 3 in 5 years just failed a batt test--went to dealer and got a 78ps delco 120 RC--now i am willing and honest to bet that i have NO problems with my CL Now or in the Future--so i am betting on c4c5 specialist expert--i will let you know if i ever get the dic reading service column lock or any other related message-Thx for your help and advice-
