Well it's different, normally I won't put negative on someones car, I'll keep it to myself. I have come to like the C 7 but still don't care for the tail lights ???

Not a fan of the 7s taillights either but I think that looks pretty good. Would like to see more finished pics.

I have to admit that if that is a stock C7 rear fascia, it fits amazingly well to the back of the C5. If it's not stock, please share where you got it from.

If that's a C7 bumper I'm stunned to see the fit is so close. I have to imagine there's some massaging going on!

Interesting project!

Neither was I ... at first.
Thought it was heresy - a Vette should have 4 rounds, not those...lifted from a Camaro....

But get behind one at night...looks mean, if not evil... Changed my opinion.

The one thing it took me a long time to get used to on my C5 was the big butt. IMHO the 7 rear facia makes the C5 butt look smaller than it really is

Yeah they do seem straight from a camaro that's what turned me away from them. I've always like the round curves of the c5, espically the rear. Only camaro I've really liked was the split bumper 70s model.

IMO even the new Camaro rear lights are nicer than the C7. Do not like; poor C5.
Seriously, your car OP...

Yes. My new C7 rear bumper to fit my C5 came from California.
Almost done. Got all the wiring conversion done yesterday. Need to figure out exhaust next & we are ready to roll

If you don't mind post some good completed photos when you are done. I don't know of any one that has actually completed the conversion provided by California Supercoupes, and really interested in seeing it since it's going on a Nassau Blue car.

So you take the worst aspect of the C7 and put it where best aspect of the C5 was?

Makes perfect sense.........

Guess no one responded to the OPs original question but sounds like he got it figured out. I was going to suggest- to separate the brake from turn signals- can't you use the Euro harness from a C5? Not sure if the bulbs are even the same but you could cut off the sockets and splice in whatever you need.

Also would be interested to see how the exhaust mod went.

I really like the rims. Are they C7 as well? The front corner lights are nice too.

I like the stock look of a C5 but your car seems to be coming along nicely. It's pretty heavily modified.
