Is Something Missing Here???
This is the front crossmember on my '04 Vert; the somewhat shiney threads suggests to me that something is missing....is it??

I'm pretty sure the early C5's (98-00) have a bracket that used all 4 holes and the later C5's (01-04) have a bracket that uses the left holes only. I can see your bracket on the left holes so it looks normal there.

Good to know...thanks everyone.....did not want to have to start looking under C5s in parking lots....good way to get into trouble in a hurry.....
