Default fog lights replaced with leds

So i want to replace the lightbulbs for my for my fogs into leds. I know the bulb is 866 i think or 899. What LED can I get at a local auto store that will work for our cars and the foglights?

It's an 899. I just ordered a set on eBay.

Put a set of 3,800 lumen LED bulbs in mine with a set of 9006 3,800 lumen LED bulbs in the parking lights. What a difference. Put double row amber LED strip on the outside to be the DRL and turn signal. Socket on Ebay replaces original bulb with three wires. Worked great with much less investment than dealer setups.
P.M. me with a cell number if you want and I will text a few pics.

Headlight bulbs in the turn signal housings sounds like a really good way to blind oncoming traffic...

Do not believe this has occurred to date. Light remains low. Have never been flashed or pulled over by LE.

These are the fan cooled versions. No heat or over taxing the wiring system issues.

What kills me about people like yourself is that without seeing the end result, you offer your opinion as an expert with no actual knowledge of the situation you are deeming yourself an expert on. As a former AZ DPS officer, if I thought I was doing a modification that would be a potential safety issue, I do not believe I would do it. But, even with your expertise, you do not know me or the modification I have performed, so I am sure you are more qualified to make the correct determination.
Rest assured, neither you or your kin will ever be at risk of being blinded by the parking lights of our C5. My bride of thirty nine years is Canadian born. We both agree at trip north of the border is out of the question. Partly due to the .45 Colt auto found in the car and, well I will let your vivid and overly opinionated imagination define the other.
So sorry I even entered a post with the intent of sharing, what everyone who has seen this in PERSON, thinks is a cool mod.
Regards,
Chas B

You took a housing without any directional control of the light and changed the bulb from ~ 40 lumens to 3800 lumens. I do have enough knowledge to know that's a 95 times increase in the light output and that claiming a big a change in the light output has no affect oncoming traffic is BS.

That's OK, if you did visit I'd just turn-on my highbeams as you approached like I do with every other person running glaring aftermarket lighting.
