You will throw a code if your rear o2 sensors haven't been turned off. I've ran catted and non catted and unless I was making 500whp or more I would leave the cats on.

I would leave the cats on a stock to moderately modded car.

If you can find O2 sims you won't need to reprogram the rear sensors.
