Default Sooo confused

Hi, I have read everything I could search but ended up more confused. My issue is I was going to change the PCV valve on a 99 C5 and when I pulled the PCV valve out, the other end of the hose (behind the intake) came out with it. Doing as much as I could without pulling the intake, I have found a pair of lines on the passenger side that also connect to nothing. Are these lines supposed to connect together or do they both "plug in" to something behind the intake? Thanks in advance for helping.

Here is a picture of the pcv valve hose where it plugs into the block on the early c5s.

You have a LS1 PCV system

Here is a drawing of what it constructed of and how its routed:

Then there is the LS1 Late model and ZO6 introduces in 2001:

That rubber plug, seals the other hold on the drivers side.

Bill, Thanks for the info. Looks like an LS1 system on mine so I just need to connect the single hose on one side to the dual hoses on the other. Might see if the dealer has new stuff. Again, thank you. Mike
