Grease buildup inside right rear wheel rim
When I got the new tires the other day, one of the mechanics noted there was an excessive building of grease inside the right rear wheel rim. I would say in areas it is almost 1/8" thick. Any idea where that might be coming from? I am not having issues, but I wonder if there is some sort of rear seal leak that needs to be fixed. Is it okay to drive until I can get it to the shop after the holidays?

Could be outer CV joint leaking grease as well. I would recommend cleaning the wheel completely, then driving it to find out if fresh grease is still leaking out.
