Default Identify this part ??

Can anyone tell me where this may have fell out from?? I think it may be from the ash tray or console lid but can't see where or how it goes back. If you know where it goes and how it goes in I would really appreciate it. It's from a 1999 Coupe. Thanks

When I got my '99, I also found one of those in the back center storage bin. Don't know what it is, unless it's something to do with holding the wheel lock.

It is the spring for the cup holder lid...

It is held in place as jamieo suggested. I think I used a dab of epoxy on each of the "pins" in mine to return it in place.

Good luck... GUSTO

Cool. Now I'm glad I saved it.

Thanks GUSTO, the picture is a big help.
I will take a look and see if I can get it back in place.
