Default Master Cylinder questions

I am ordering a master cylinder, but I am unsure from where. I do want a replacement GM Part. Anyone have experience with any specific dealer that I can order GM replacement parts from cheaper than dealership?

Summit won't have it till 8/8, and I need it this week. A Tick is out of the question because I have no clue whats in my drivetrain and I don't want something thats just going to give me problems after install.

Please suggest to me where I should order one from.

Thanks

I did ask about my slave, but recently found out its my master not my slave.

Also I need to know where the fluid from the reservoir went? Is it now floating my slave in brake fluid? What else do I need to drain and refill while I am working on this? My reservior drank a whole thing of fluid in like 300 miles. The fluid was routed to where? Slave? I have absolutely no leaks, period.

If the master was identified as bad, the fluid normally leaks inside the cabin down the fire wall and under the carpet. If the salve is leaking, it will be running out of the bottom of the bell housing.

Contact Gene Culley (forum Vendor). He is a well established GM parts supplier.

Here is one of his forum vendor post:

actually the fluid will only come inside the car is with manual brakes, the fluid on power brakes will leak down the power booster at the mounting point.
