Transmission Fluid Suggestions Mr. Bill Curlee?
As one of the more knowledgeable Corvette DIYers out there, Mr. Bill Curlee, what synthetic transmission fluid would you recommend for my 2003 auto tranny? Heat is an issue here in Texas, so I prefer synthetic fluids.

Use GM Dexron VI. It is compatible with all the old Dex Fluids, Etc
You can get any brand you like.
I switched over a couple years ago the the VI from the OEM III Dex
REally didnt' notice any difference..
But the Dex VI is synthetic (blend) in some brands. And I'm sure it's temp
ratings are better. Good Luck

AMSOIL makes a new blend that is excellent. Contact an AMSOIL Rep or store that sells it and pick up some.
