2 different part numbers for brake master cyl??
Does anyone know why there are 2 different part numbers for the brake master cylinder? Will either work? My car is an 02 Z06.
Doing a search on a GM parts website, I found part number 19209263. Putting that number in Amazon it comes up with $225.
Then I found a thread on here that listed a part number 19288642. It comes up on Rock Auto for $75.
That's quite a big price difference... would much rather buy the $75 one unless there's something i'm missing.

Either one will work. The replacement Delco 18M2441 unit may be offshore built. Delco sources from around the world.
I wouldn't hesitate to use it.

Could be a part supercession,
or
a mod after a certain serial number
For example, I had a really tough time finding a C6 shifter for my C5 - there are at least 6 different part numbers for a C6 shifter - 5 are supercessions, and now the same number is used for '05-'17 - you have to provide a serial number to get the correct one.
