Clutch goes away when hot??
I had a McLeod RST installed when I did the motor about 2K miles ago.
When it is super hot and I'm off and on the clutch (say in traffic) the clutch looses all feeling and it feels like there is a pillow between the pedal and the floor. It feels like it might go the floor at any second. Once it cools down, it's fine. Am I boiling the fluid? What else would cause this?

Are you running the original factory master cylinder?

I'm still on the stock MC.
This only happens when I'm stuck in traffic and the car heats up and I'm on and off the clutch (a lot).

Just some other stuff on clutches....note the advise on how to "cool" the clutch area.....

Yes, I replaced the slave and installed a remote bleeder. The fluid is still clear. Could I be boiling the fluid? I've got some motul 600 I can try.

REPLACE THAT MASTER CYL!
When I did my head/cam/fast 90 up-grade I replaced the clutch with a SPEC Twin disk. I replaced EVERYTHING clutch related even though some stuff was still working.
I replaced the master cyl with a TICK Master. SO,,,,,,,,, Being inquisitive I dissected the old master just to see what it was all about.
HOLY CRAP ,, It was loaded up with nasty clutch dust SLIME. I amazed that it even worked. The old slave also had a lot of the same crap in it.
You can probably use a standard OEM Master and it will be fine. I like the adjustability of the TICK.
