Rear wheel weight question....
My previous car was an '03 Z06. The aftermarket rear wheels weighed about 8-9 pounds more than the factory wheels on each side. The car was tuned with an intake and put down ~380 rwhp SAE. Ended up selling this one.
I picked up another '03(love these cars) a week ago which is bone stock with low miles(30K). Although, I'm putting down less power to the rear wheels, the car noticeably feels like it gets up and goes faster. Could the heavier wheels in the rear make the car "feel" slower, even though it had ~25 more rwhp? It could be all in my head, I dunno...

maybe
The lighter stock rears are both un-sprung weight and rotating weight, so extremely important. After buying mine, I sold a set of crap aftermarket chrome wheels shod with crappy tires, each corner weighed as much as a dead preacher. Thought I could feel a difference.
