Default Want to replace Selective ride with mag rids

I have a 2000 convertible with selective ride control. From what I understood from a few years back the shocks could be replaced with MRC shocks and the control module for the SRC would work on the MRC shocks. You would only have two settings insted of the three as this is all MRC has. Any ideas of who has the parts for the switch. Thanks, Mike

If you are looking for used parts try :

Seriously doubt you will find new parts but I may be wrong...
Mag ride came out in the 2003 Vette. You mean to tell me they do not sell new replacement shocks?

Do you know if changing the Selective ride shocks with the Mag ride shocks is just plug and play? About 7 years ago I thought I heard the selective ride module just connects to the mag ride shocks and your good to go.

Here is a thread from some time back that talks about the actual conversion and what is involved:

At $2400 I would personally be looking at a coil over conversion. JMHO
When my Mag ride shocks went out I went with coilovers, later on I went with Bilstein shocks w/Z06 leaf springs. MRC shocks are stupid expensive and don't ride any better than the Bilsteins.

I really am not that interested in the handling of this car. My wife and I only use it for short pleasure cruises. A soft ride would not bother me. If i want to kick it out I will use my 2015 Z51 car. Seems like the F45 replacement shocks are more than the mag ride conversion package.
