Can not find a solution for clutch problem
C5 base 60k miles. Car will not catch any gear. Will not grind unless I put excessive force on it. Car has brand new clutch and pressure plate as well as master and slave cylinder. I have purged the clutch from the bottom several time as well as pumping the clutch to remove any bubbles from the master. After a few hours I try the car and no improvement. I have heard a couple of grown folk talk about the clutch needing a spacer?also Is there anything I need to check in regards to the torque tube? Any information as well as links to threads are very welcome. Thank you in advance

It's possible the slave cylinder may need to be shimmed up.

If you use a stock new clutch there should not be any issues However if you used non stock components then yes you can's simply bolt them in---You need to check for proper throw-out bearing to pressure plate clearance--Most likely it is now not in spec
