Default Source for 99 C5 Z51 Rear Sway Bar Bushing

Anyone know of a source for the OEM rubber bushing for the 1999 Z51 rear sway bar? The part number I have found is 10401553 for 21.7mm bar but it seems to have been discontinued and not available anywhere I can find. I would like to replace my bushings but can't use poly due to rules requiring OEM equivalent replacements only. Anyone know of a substitute for this discontinued part?

Moog carries a pretty wide variety of rubber sway bar bushings, these are close at 21mm...

These are 22mm...

You can get Prothane bushings on Amazon. Measure your sway bars and be certain you've got the right ones. Use a caliper to be certain.

I can't use poly bushings and I don't see any Moog direct fit for my 99 z51 rear bar. The have a universal 21mm or 22.1mm (about 1/2 mm too big or small) but have no idea if either would work or fit the mounting.

Actually the 21 mm bushing is .03" (or about 1/32nd of an inch) too small, not a half inch. The brackets Moog offers are pretty generic and if your original brackets don't fit, the Moog ones should.

Your call...

Huh? They replace the stock bushings. On a swaybar, what difference does it make?

Doesn't matter what difference it makes, it is not legal for the class.

I have two new bushings from GM. Measuring the diameter it looks like they are 22mm.
You can have them if you pay the shipping.

Oh, good point. Whops...

Ok, so go to a GM dealer and buy stock replacements. Or call Gene Culley (forum sponsor/vendor). That is of course if the ones offered above will not work.
