Strange pro race brakes ?
I live near strange engineering and have used their products in the past with a good amount of success.. I spoke with a tech at strange and he informed me that they don't make a set of rear brakes for a C5. I've read in a couple places that the factory front drivers side caliper will fit on the passengers side rear and vise versa. Also I've read part of the factory caliper mounting bracket needs to be cut off.
Does anyone have any first hand experienced putting strange engineering front 4 piston pro race brakes on the rear of a C5? A link or any tips/clues would be great. Pics are welcome as well.

Yes... The front brakes will fit on the rear as you've described.
You need about a 1/4" spacer machined to fit between the axle and the hub, as the axle will rub on the hub if this is left out.
The two OEM caliper mounting ears need to be cut off.
I have the brakes sitting in a box and have test fitted them onto my LG spindles. I haven't cut them up yet. Probably a winter project.
You also need to source a brake line to go from the caliper to the car. There is a vendor on here, he's posted in a brake thread in the drag racing section. Can't remember the name right now.
Good luck with your project.

Do you think I will still be able to use my 16" Classic CCW's ?
