16" 4th Gen Camaro Wheels on C5?
I know this has been discussed many times, but I am trying to see if anyone has had any luck with fitting them on the rear of their c5.
I bought a 16" drag pack with hoosiers from another guy on a c5 facebook page. He said they fit his car no problem. Well they ended up grinding like hell when I put them on, took them off, grinded the top of the a arm and knuckles down but still grinds. The guy told me to get a 1/8' so I did, and they dont grind but I noticed when I take a left turn the back left makes a noise.
Anyone have anything I can do or am I just SOL? I will try and get a picture up of the wheels and what they look like.
Thanks in Advance,
Amaan.

Take a grinder and take some material off the top of the spindle.
Then they should fit just fine...

I don't recall ever touching the A arm to fit those wheels. Just the top of the spindle.
I did not use a spacer. Sorry, I have no pics of that setup. This was 8 years ago that I was using them.

Drifting
1" rear spacers, no grinding needed
Quick update
Took a ride out to Rochester to pick up two 16" Firebird ABS wheels. I really don't plan on taking this car to the drag strip - but I guess if I ever get serious I can stick a drag radial on them.

They fit without any modification - extremely close on the spindle but doesn't touch. The ball joint dust caps also cleared. Miles of room on the calipers. They look goofy.

Tiny sized tire (225/60/16) makes for a fun time on the street.
