Ti ZO6 Mufflers

The nice thing about the tips is you can get them to line up straight, and they look pretty good. A lot of aftermarket cat-backs have issues with getting the tips just right.
I personally love the Ti's with LT's. They're a tad on the quiet side, but zero drone, awesome tone, and really roars at WOT.

The Tis don't drone but they can howl pretty good when the engine is at full song. Just have a C5Z pass you at about 100 mph with the throttle wide open in 4th gear and you will hear a blast. Riding in the car you won't hear it but the people you pass will.
As for straightening the tips make sure you really know what you are doing. The welds on the outlets can break loose from the pipes and let them swing up and down in the muffler body. This mostly happens to cars that are tracked a lot where the pipes get hotter than hell. First, my tips turned blue from the heat (many track days with lots of wide open throttle operation), then the outlet pipes came loose on both mufflers. It cost me $70 each to have a person qualified to weld titanium weld them back in place.
Simichrome got rid of the blueing on the stainless steel tips. Overall they are probably the best mufflers you can install on a C5. Lighter in weight, rust proof, loud when they need to be and quiet where needed. However, after many track days mine did get a fair amount louder at idle than ones that hadn't been tracked.

Don't have headers...
Went from stock to Ti's
100% love....
For some, They may be too quiet but, I'm old, and I like my hearing
Tone is nice, ZERO drone, no rasp,, My wife thinks the Z's are somewhat quieter than the OEM ( I agree)
Mine are NEVER coming off of this car as long as I own it.....
I understand the Z's will get louder with long tubes....If you like that sort of thing.

I am running XS-Power long tubes and x-pipe through the XS-Power hi-flow cats and into Ti’s. They sound great at idle, no drone and at WOT they do come alive. I also have a set of QTP electric cut-outs installed when the situation calls for an in your face growl, but not often. I would love to have the look of the four evenly spaced large round tips as on the C7’s and the Tiger Shark tips, but don’t want to give up my Ti’s. So I am looking into modifying the tips, but like has been said, finding a shop that is qualified to weld with titanium is difficult.

Here are a couple of pics. You can see the far right tip is angled down a bit for some reason. Also you can see in the underneath pic why I'm concerned a shop wont be able to bend the pipe, there is a support bracket welded on that holds the pipes together.

Heat'm up, use a long pry bar, done. Good muffler shop, no problem IMO.
