Cleaning radiator today and managed to bust the plastic push in fasteners and that hold the lower shroud / support on the sides. Anybody else have the same problem and have a better fix than trying to get them from a dealer? Did not find a drawing in the shop manual that called out the part numbers.

It is only plastic, and will get brittle and crumbly over time.
I think AutoZone (and PepBoys?) have these parts in their stores under one of the brands Dorman owns. Should be about 3 bucks for a small package.

Take a look at your local auto parts store. I have been able to locate most fasteners at my local NAPA

Anyone have a good aftermarket substitute for these? Mine have been missing for a while and the car still cools fine, but I'd like to replace them with something. Guessing some generic black plastic "christmas trees" would work like other posters have suggested, just wondering if anyone else has done it and could share what they used.
