Torque tube rebuild--big snap ring pliers?
Hi guys. I have a torque tube rebuild coming up as part of a total drivetrain refresh on my 2002 Z06. I know I need a huge pair of snap ring pliers to do this. Shane at RPM transmissions suggested a Kentmore tool KMTJ-45126 and whoa they are OMGWTFBBQ levels of expensive. How have you guys done this job? Did you use a $200 pair of pliers? I hesitate to spend that kind of money on a tool I plan to use twice.
Thanks!
Thanks!
