Default Single turbocharging LS6.

I am wanting to turbo my 01' C5 Z06 LS6 that was a previous track car at one point. The car currently has 49,xxx miles. The goal is 550-600whp and may go up to 650-700whp later on. I have debated on a methanol kit as well in place of the windshield wiper fluid. Should I change anything internally? I have a mild cam and possibly ported 243 heads not for certain. I keep seeing that the pistons, rods, and rod bolts are the weak links on these motors. Would this be a good idea to go forged parts for this build or if I keep boost down and a good tune will I be fine? Thanks for any input. - Evan
