TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) on leaking rear differential?
My 99' FRC is out of warranty and has a leaking rear differential. I was looking at the nhtsa site and found that there is a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) on the "Power Train: Driveline: Differerntial Unit" with a summary that says "Subject Regarding Revised Side Cover and Gasket Replacement (RH) / Differential" The Service Bulletin Number is: 020420003 dated 7/02.
I am going to give my chevy dealer a call tomorrow and find out the scoop on whether or not GM will cover the cost of fixing this problem through this TSB.

That TSB does not address a differential leak :nonod: It simply addresses the replacement procedure when installing a new right side cover, because of the bearing/race clearance when installing a new cover....
Good luck anyway :yesnod:
