Water leak in 2002 Z06, HELP!!!!
Well my sister discovered a small water puddle in her 2002 Yellow Z06 near the clutch. Does anyone know where this water may have come from? Has anyone else reported similiar problems? What is the remedy? I suggested she go back to the dealer, but you know how that goes. You bring your car to the dealer to fix 1 problem and you get the car back with 2 problems!!!

Are you sure its water? I dont know if this could happen but maybe the clutch master cylinder could be leaking the fluid. Again, I'm not sure if its possible for fluid to leak from the part of the master inside the car but I have no other idea how fluid could get in there.

Mine was actually leaking right down to the dead pedal. Finally had it water leak tested, and there were a couple of pin leaks coming from the body seams. Make sure they actually move the car a couple of times so they catch all of it. Jeannie :)

They sealed the leak with what, I don't know, I didn't look on the part's list on the repair order. It took 3 times. Hoped this helped. Go to the Service Bulletins for GM cars. Their's a sh_itload of manufacturer defects and problems listed for Corvettes. Jeannie
