Default How many footpounds of torque used in A4 transmission pan?

I am changing my torque convertor out and doing a gear change so I decided to go ahead and put in a new transmission filter, but how many foot pounds of torque do you use when tightening the pan bolts. I have heard 8 ft.lbs but that seems like it is not enough.

thanks in advance
