Default Which Slotted/Cross Drilled Rotors for Aestheics?

I'm looking to replace my stock rotors with soemthing that looks real nice and guaranteed not to rust. My priority is more looks (and less expense) than performance alhough any slotted/cross drilled ones would be better than stock I would imagine. The rotors will be used with HRE 547's. Any suggestions based on great looks and price? Anyone with pics?

Mark, I've had good results with the Baer Eradispeeds.

The green stuff on them is reflected grass - not stains!

Are these the same ones you speak of cause I've seen a few different Baer Rotor Products?

DBA rotors are also a good alternative. I'll have them as my first mod next year.

Mark, I just installed the Baer Eradispeeds yesterday. They are magnificent. I wasn't so sure when I opened the boxes. but I trusted, and went ahead and installed. No better appearance mod other than spectacular wheels. I have the standard high polish 5 spoke C5 wheels and the Eradispeeds look like they were made for my car (guess they were, at that!).  :smash:

you can get them from LG Motorsports, I believe they have a GP for them. You can also find them at precisionbrakescompany.com who also is having a sale.

All I saw on LG's sight were the GSTOP'S and POWERSLOTS. But I'll check the other site. Thanks.

Mark,

Since we are neighbors.....you must go with the Eradispeeds. I did the 2 piece fronts and 1 piece rears, but you can save some bling-bling by using 1 piece on both. Try Nate at Xtreme, he got me the rears. (2 Piece Front)

Mark, those are the one-piece design; the Eradispeeds have the two-piece front rotors and "enhanced" rears, that are one-piece. I personally think the two-piece on the front look pretty good. You could save some money by going with one-piece though.

Yes, the 2 piece Front/1 piece Rear is much nicer as I saw their other pics on their site. I was also just on the phone with Mike (Nate was busy). Are there group purchases with these? How low will they go? Would these work on HRE 547's 17 x 9.5 and 18 x 11?

I think nothing beats the Eradispeeds for looks! I've got about 10,000 miles on mine now and they still look great and are still perfectly smooth on stops. (unlike my warped GM originals) I used OEM brake pads with mine.

My fronts:

My rears:

Yea, they look nice but whats the deal - there are so many posts from owners who have problems with these?

Most people that have problems were road racing the car. To be honest I usually wont buy anything that isnt an improvement performance-wise and it took me a long time to decide whether to do Baers or not. After seeing a few cars with them I went for it, as far as road racing or doing some serious beating on the brakes I doubt I would have chosen the same after reading about problems people have had with these for the last couple years. Plus the stock brakes worked just fine for me..

IMO unless you are doing it for looks there are better ways of spending 7-800.00. I'll be happy if they stay looking nice and dont warp - I'll never push them hard enough to crack them

I went with the GM drilled & slotted rotors with the GM ceramic pads.
