Total Engine Airflow cylinder heads...
I just talked to brian a couple of days ago and he said that the new 6.0/LS6 heads should be ready in the next couple of weeks. He also said that the new heads would flow 330-345 CFM @ .600 lift(intake) and 270+cfm @ .600 on the exhaust. He also mentioned something about a 5.3 truck head that flowed 325+cfm @ .600 lift using the same port size. If anyone wants to see what kind of work they do here are some pics. I'll try and find an exhaust runner pic also.....
Full CNC'd combustion chamber
Intake port: ~305cfm @ .600 with 225cc port volume
Exhaust port ~254cfm @ .600 with 80cc port volume

You can't really compare LS6 heads and 5.3 truck heads. LS6 heads that cartek uses flow better than the truck heads from the factory. Brian was saying that the 5.7 and 5.3 heads dont have as much material to shape the runner for optimal flow but than again 5.3 heads are $250 and LS6 heads are $1200+. Cartek heads do flow alittle bit better.

What size valves is he using in the 6.0/LS6 heads to get that flow, and what size bore was it flowed on?

have beemn talking with brian for the past week. he is my choice for doing a set of 2.08 heads for our 422 iron block stroker. very professional person, helpful, and with great ties and connections to the likes of judson massengill for some of you that dont know, he's one bad dude in the racing ls1 arena. hell, how could anything that come out of bowling green and to do with a vette be a bad choice anyways.!!!!! ive done alot of research on this as we will be putting this buildup in a couple of magazines. this guy is one of the tops in the ford arena, just that word isnt out of the box yet on his gm capabilities. thanks, joe

I have a set of TEA Z06 heads. You can't compare their exhaust flow numbers, since they use a different system for measuring flow. They still flow very well. They will tell you though, that their CNC program is what makes the heads work. Not just the flow.

I already have them...waiting to get back to the dyno. I am exploring my orginal plan of a 396 so I might have to go to the 6.0 heads.
