Re: Glove Box Option Codes (Monster231)
Welcome to the forum.
I recall reading on the earlier C5 models, the options list was on the underside of one of the rear storage compartment covers.
If not, then  I dunno.

Yeah i read that thread, and i checked. Those numbers make no sense, just looks like a part number for the carpet.

In 98 it really was under one of the outer lids, in the rear compartment! If it is not there, someone must have changed the lid along the way!

C4's had the parts ID tag under the center console door. C5's switched location to the left storage-well cover (97-99, I think) and then to the glove box (2000+).

Re: Glove Box Option Codes (Monster231)
Here is a link to the basics for translating the codes on a 1998 C5:
http://www.idavette.net/facts/98.htm
Here is another one that is basically the same thing:
http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/...1998/1998.html
They may not translate all the codes on the glove box or rear cover. Some of those codes relate to what kind of wax protection was put on your car before it was shipped and other such nebulous stuff. But they should get the options available in a brochure, etc.

If you have a good relationship with your dealership, call them up with your VIN, and they can to to a GM web site and get your 'Build Sheet' which will list all of the options along with a description of each.
