Default Convert 1/8 mile time to 1/4 mile time

I'm not sure if any of the drag strip kings in here can help but I will try. I don't have a 1/4 mile track close but have been to the 1/8 a couple of times, is it possible to tell me approx. what I will run in the 1/4 knowing that I ran a 8.35 in the 1/8. I don't know what my 60' time is as my slips are at home. I was running in July, very hot out if that makes a difference and running 20" street tires, no bottle cuz can't hook it at all. This year will be running slicks and a 150 shot using a TNT kit. Thanks for any help in advance. Bob

1/8 mile time x 1.54 = 1/4 mile time

This should get you pretty close to what you are looking for. :D

Yes that conversion is the one I use.

I am at 1/8th tracks also and the the conversion is consistently between 1.53 and 1.55 (1.54 is good). The mph conversion is 1.25 to 1.26 x 1/8 mph = 1/4 mph....usually within 1-2 tenths and 1-2 mph.

Atlanta Chasis Dyno has a calculator on their website for the 1/8 to 1/4 calculation. I'm sure it's pretty much the same math listed here already.
