Default Results back today from Cartek 2 X package dyno

I have not been to pick up my car yet but I have just spoken with the company that I had tune it for me. The numbers sound a little low to me. I put the 2X H/C package in, Stainless Works LT"s, Route 66 catbacks, Donaldson Blacwing, and had the intake swapped for a ported one. also a Corsa X-pipe. The precats are out but the cats are still in. They told me that the car only made 401 rwhp. I have not yet been to get it and see the A/F ratios and the TQ. Any suggestions or thoughts? The car is a 02 6 speed. (LS1)

Do you have an ls1 or ls6 intake? Are you still using ls1 heads? I would call dave about it and try and see if you can get an autop log of the car on the dyno. You can send that to them and they may be able to help you with whats wrong. Also what are the exact specs of this package as I went for the most aggresive possible and got the best results possible at this time.

Did you upgrade to 30lb/hr injectors? LS6 or LS1 heads? Something ain't right, that's for sure. Definately give Cartek a call, they'll be able to get everything figured out for you. :yesnod:

I don't think the Stainless Works headers work the best with that setup. Who tuned it? How many miles on the car? LS1's and vary quite a bit in deck height. If the deck height is tall you motor may have a slightly lower compression then others. What kind of head gaskets did you use?

Why would Stainless Works headers not work with his package???

Do you have an ls1 or ls6 intake?
dont the '02s have the LS6 intake manifold? i think he made a mention of swapping it out for a ported one.

some ppl dyno their cars with NO cats, Underdrive pulley, Short Belt, Ported LS6 intake manifold, etc...

are those SAE vs STD numbers?

maybe the tuning is a bit off.

Yup the 02s have the ls6, just making sure he put an ls6 back on there. Also if he would give us the specs it would be really helpful because this may not be their all out package and he may be only off by a few hp if he is keeping cats.

Yes I did put the LS6 intake on. The heads are LS1 heads 2.02 and 1.57 valves. The cam is .218 .224, .570 lift 113 LS. I did not get my rev limiter moved up from stock so I think that maybe that may bee where the extra 20 or so HP that I had expcted is. It looks like the HP may still be climbing at 6200 rpm's. I had been told to expect 420 to 430 rwhp. [IMG][/IMG]

oh yeah you need your rev limiter moved up to 6950 as long as you got all the parts to support that. I made peak power around 6700rpm and peak torque at 4800. what was your torque?

Well those are decently good numbers considering your heads are LS1 and you have a pretty small cam and cats.

Add another 15hp for LS6 heads, another 15hp for a huge cam, and 10hp for no cats and you are right near 440rwhp.

Okay, that's it then. :yesnod: The rev limiter bump will put you right where you need to be. The power on these cars keeps climbing. That's actually pretty good power considering.
