Changing fuel filter?
Do I need any special tools to change the fuel filter in my 01' Z06? Also where should I look for it. I change my own oil and filter with Rhino Ramps.
Thanks

IMHO...if you have less than 50K mileage save your hard earned money on a filter replacement.
I cut mine open at a 35K mileage replacement and I replaced prematurely.
There's no service interval and conservatism to me would replace at 50K and 100K (hell, maybe even 75/ 150)
Otherwise, special fuel line clip tool, a pan and rags. Don't forget to relieve the fuel pressure under-the hood 1st. Wear goggles while under the Vette.

Change your fuel filter just like you vote, early and often. I hadn't changed mine with 17,000 miles on the car, my mechanic (specialized in corvettes for 31 years) told me it was false economy to not change it, a partially clogged one over works the pump. Also, if you have modded your car and are approaching the limit of the injectors (they are rated based on stock fuel pressure through a new filter) you could go lean on the top end and BYE BYE engine. Blow through a new filter, then through the old one, you'll see the difference, I SURE DID.
