Halltech Stage 2 Carbon Fiber Tunnel Ram Air Port Pictures
Halltech Stage 2 Carbon Fiber Tunnel Ram Air Port Pictures, as promised.
This one is the gelcoat black carbon fiber unit, which is available for those that wish to paint their Tunnel Port.
Next week we will have the carbon fiber black raw look, Anniversary Red Kevlar, and soon other colors. I will have pictures of the colors available soon.
This one is going to the paint shop with our hood to be paint matched EB.
Jim
You can see the Warhead filter directly behind the Tunnel Port
The Warhead filter sits directly behind the screen.
Think about the amount of cold air that the stock airbox, K&N FIPK, and Blackwing will benefit from this Tunnel Port! Much easier to install than the Z06 screens, and can be reversed in 3 minutes.

Re: Halltech Stage 2 Carbon Fiber Tunnel Ram Air Port Pictures (racer44)
We are having our stock hood painted, as you can see, but timing doesn't allow us to get this piece to them in time, unless we can make it happen tomorrow.
Very little time nowdays. I have the Anniversary Red Kevlar. I'll take some photos tomorrow AM with more light. One shade is identical to the Z06 covers, the other almost a match to the Anniversary Red color.

The record so far, was 15 RWHP/10 ft. lbs torque with just the TRAP on a 2003 LS1 and 27 RWHP/25 ft. lbs with LS1 Edit and a thermostat.

Jim,
Excuse my ignorance please. Is this a COMPLETE unit? Air bridge, filter, etc. I have a daily driver. How does this thing react in the rain?
Thanks,
Bob

Stage 1 is a complete cold air induction system, with no direct exposure to rain at all. The filter rests directly behind the front license plate or Corvette Plate, inside the facia. The deflector shield for the radiator and facia are sealed at the bottom, so no water can get at the filter.
The Optional Stage 2 Tunnel Ram Air Port, is another matter. Rain coming into the filter area, will not be a problem, we have soaked our filter in the car wash, and just started up and driven away.
Since the Stage 2 Tunnel Port is installed exactly like the stock plate, you can hot swap it back to the Corvette plate for rainy days in 60 seconds.
The abundance of cold direct ram air with this mod is still not true ram air, but the benefits are obvious to the eye. You can see the filter directly behind the Z06 Style screen.
