It's always a good idea to upgrade your chain, Rollmaster makes a great double roller for about $100. I degreed my cam, but I did not put any advance or retard in it, just lined up at 0. It's just going to depend on your selection and the cam card that comes with it.

If you select a cam with asymmetrical lobes - it definitely is a good idea to degree it. :yesnod: :yesnod:

I had to buy a special cam gear that would allow the cam to be precisely dialed in. The engine guys said that just lining up the dots wouldn't dial in the cam.
