Default Flywheel Question

What is the advantages or disadvantages of an aluminum flywheel vs a steel flywheel.

Anything lighter is good for acceleration, but will potentially cause a lopier idle to due decrease momentum. I can't speak about specific aftermarket units, but the aluminum housing with the steel insert seems nice in theory, but I'm afraid it might add another potential problem down the road.

I run a 5.5" 3-disc clutch setup, 19lbs (vs stock 60lbs) and probably 1/20 the inertial of the stock setup. It is steel, but small.
