Default 2004 DTE Corvette Differential "GP" 3.42, 3.73, 3.90, 4.10......

To start out the 2004-racing season and due to numerous email requests lately, we are again hosting another HP Corvette differential GP for all of the Corvette Forum members who wish to participate. :)

Our first differential GP last year was a success and much needed at the request of you all and this years GP will be hosted in the same manner, so that everyone will have ample time to sign up to get a HP, durable differential at an affordable price…..just in time for Spring!!!!

We will be running this special from Jan. 6-21and 12 participants are required to receive the special pricing offered. This offer is for mail-in or exchange differentials only and each unit comes w/ a written 2yr./24,000 mile warranty. As a new option, we can now ship you a completed differential on an exchange basis, which not only saves you down time with your Corvette, but shipping expense also.

Each will be shipped in a protective, plastic shell to prevent damage during shipping and each participant assumes shipping charges to their location. We accept 2 or 3-series differential cores as long as they are in re-buildable/re-usable condition and not abused/broken with damaged internal hard parts.

This year we have added a few more areas of improvement and features that are listed below and as always, the attention to detail, build quality and blueprinting methods of our HP differentials are applied to every finished unit.:chevy

Is there a core charge I assume if you send me the differential first, and then I return my original? How much is that? How long do we have to return ours? I have the cash to do this, but I would rather do the install myself since the cheapest quote I have got so far has been $650... I am trying to find a place to do the swap myself.....

Also, could you give me some advice...... I have a basically stock 99' FRC, I am getting intake stuff, x-pipe, and stinger right now... I also have an extra set of 17's that I am thinking about throwing e.t. streets on.... So with 4.10's for primarily 95% street use, do I really need the severe duty output shaft? I may also put a procharger on it in about a month? Any suggestions?

How much is shipping to Manhattan KS 66502? Thanks!!!!!

If your future plans are to visit the drag strip w/ E.T Streets and adding forced induction, then it would be wise to upgrade to the stronger output shaft for durability.

You can visit www.ups.com to find shipping rates w/ their calculator. The shipping package dimensions are 18x18x18 and weighs 80 lbs. This should get you an approximation of shipping costs. :)

Phil

I have 420 horsepower at the tires and do not plan on going any higher then that. I do race the car and I have drag radials. Should I get the hardened shaft? I am in for 4:10's. Thanks, Kaley

brialex42-
They are right around the corner... We are producing components for installation now.

gpracer-
Email us directly for more details.

2c5only21-
The fact that you race the car on the drag strip w/ drag tires warrants the 300M output shaft in our professional opinion.

nonitro-
3 shafts????? The Corvette differential only has two output shafts...

Phil

Is the Stage III setup part of the GP? If so, what is the installed price?

Like Phil said I'm in on the GP. I did some research before ordering and had decided to go with DTE even before I read about the GP. These guys have the best components out there, hands down. If you're planning on taking your car to the track and running slicks, I highly recommend getting the heavy duty output shaft. It only took two hard runs for mine to break
If you're on the fence on these, wait no longer, best components out there and at the best price(late christmas). Thanks for taking the time to answer all my questions and returning all my calls, keep up the good work Phil.
